About us
Diversity Advice Consultants is an Austin, Texas-based consulting firm that provides diversity assessment, audit and strategic planning, sexual harassment prevention and anti-discrimination to businesses, government agencies, and educational institutions. Our philosophy is that organizations that have effective sexual harassment prevention and anti-discrimination policies and procedures have the foundation of a culture that values diversity and inclusion.
Our consultants each have more than twenty years of experience investigating discrimination complaints, developing and delivering sexual harassment prevention, diversity, and workplace conduct training, and/or creating and reviewing human resources policies and procedures. Although our company is based in Austin, Texas, our consultants are located throughout the United States, including Puerto Rico.

Our founder:
Michelle Goodwine
Since 2018, our founder has served as the President and Founder of Diversity Advice Consultants. Under her leadership, the firm has offered a wide range of services, such as diversity training, sexual harassment prevention, discrimination investigation, and diversity assessment and strategy.
One notable achievement in her work is the creation of the Phases of Organizational Development Assessment (PODA) Tool, which greatly enhances our understanding and implementation of effective diversity strategies in organizations.
Prior to establishing Diversity Advice Consultants, she founded the Maverick HR Consulting and Goodwine Multimedia Marketing iconsulting firms in 2009, utilizing her proficiency in Human Resources and marketing to provide customized consulting services. In addition, she served as an Investigation Specialist II at the Florida Commission on Human Relations, where she was specifically appointed as the Master Conciliator for a pilot initiative in 2021 and created essential training programs for the staff.
During her tenure in the Civil Rights Division of the Texas Workforce Commission, she accomplished notable milestones such as overseeing the handling of employment and housing discrimination complaints and providing guidance on matters related to budget, personnel, and operations.
Her previous positions in different organizations, such as the City of Austin Public Works Department, Carver Computer and Job Search Center, and The Sage Colleges, honed her abilities in managing intricate HR tasks, formulating diversity recruitment strategies, and enforcing policies to foster a fairer work environment.
Anticipating the completion of her PhD in Public Administration at Liberty University in 2026, her strong academic foundation and substantial professional expertise serve as the foundation of her dedication to fostering transformation in organizational environments. Her work and accomplishments have solidified her position as a prominent figure in the realm of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
