Our Founder:

Michelle Goodwine

Since founding Diversity Advice Consultants in 2018, Michelle Goodwine has passionately led the company in delivering transformative solutions for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Under her visionary leadership, the firm has offered a comprehensive range of services, including diversity training, sexual harassment prevention, discrimination investigations, and tailored diversity assessments and strategies.

One of her groundbreaking achievements is the creation of the Phases of Organizational Development Assessment (PODA) Tool. This innovative framework helps organizations evaluate their current diversity phase and provides actionable strategies to integrate DEI principles fully, empowering workplaces to achieve their aspirational goals.

Before establishing Diversity Advice Consultants, Michelle built a legacy of impactful leadership. In 2009, she founded Maverick HR Consulting and Goodwine Multimedia Marketing, where she combined her deep expertise in human resources and marketing to provide customized consulting services for businesses, nonprofits, and public sector organizations.

Michelle’s extensive professional background includes her role as Investigation Specialist II at the Florida Commission on Human Relations, where she spearheaded a pilot initiative as the Master Conciliator and designed critical staff training programs. Her tenure in the Civil Rights Division of the Texas Workforce Commission further solidified her reputation as a champion for equity. There, she managed employment and housing discrimination complaints and provided strategic guidance on budgeting, personnel management, and operations.

Her experience also spans roles with the City of Austin Public Works Department, Carver Computer and Job Search Center, and The Sage Colleges, where she honed her expertise in developing diversity recruitment strategies, implementing HR policies, and fostering inclusive work environments.

Currently pursuing her PhD in Public Administration at Liberty University, with anticipated completion in 2026, Michelle’s academic rigor complements her professional accomplishments. Her dedication to advancing DEI initiatives and her proven track record of success have earned her recognition as a thought leader in the field.

Michelle Goodwine’s work continues to inspire organizations to embrace diversity as a cornerstone of their success. Under her guidance, Diversity Advice Consultants is your partner in creating inclusive, equitable, and thriving workplaces.
